  Joining Cullens in 2011 as a Patent and Trade Mark Attorney and Solicitor, Steve will divide his workload between the trade mark area and patent work particularly in the electrical, ICT and engineering areas.

  Steve completed a combined degree in Physics and Law in 2005 and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2006. A Masters of Intellectual Property in 2010 then rounded Steve’s skills for registration as a Patent and Trade Mark Attorney.

  Due to his previous employment within the intellectual property division of a leading Australian legal practice, Steve has experience in Federal Court litigation in relation to patent, trade mark and design infringement.

  In the patent field, Steve has been responsible for the initial preparation of more than one hundred patent applications for mechanical, software and optoelectronic devices including inventions concerning optical physics, optical fibres and laser technologies as well as prosecution of numerous other applications in the above areas to registration.

• Steve also managed a large and vibrant trade mark practice and has resolved many contentious trade mark matters at one of Australia’s top tier law firms.
