  Brad specialises in the software, electrical and mechanical engineering fields.

  He has considerable experience in all aspects of patent law including infringement avoidance, searching as well as patent drafting. Brad has prepared hundreds of patent applications for Australia’s largest US filer of information and communications technology (ICT) patent applications alone. 

  Brad understands and advises on the commercialisation of inventions. Before entering the patent attorney profession in 2002, Brad was a software and hardware R&D engineer at Robert Bosch, designing electronic control units (ECUs) for BMW and Volkswagen (VW).  He was the chief hardware design engineer for an ECU that was the largest volume electronics product in Australia with sales of ~1.8 million units per annum.

  Brad has authored several articles and is often asked to speak in relation to Intellectual Property issues.
